“Every 40 seconds someone in the world commits suicide.” This was stated in a article in the Edmonton Journal during Suicide Awareness week in September 2006. It doesn’t feel that common when it happens to someone you know whether it be a friend or family. It may take a long time to realize you are not alone. Other people do know how you feel.
